What Is The Sow What Journey?
The Sow What Journey is all about food: how and where it’s grown, harvested, processed, distributed, and consumed, and why it matters. It is an option to take for senior and ambassador girl scouts to receive the Gold Award.
Gold Award:
The Gold Award is the highest achievement within the Girl Scouts of the USA, and is only earned by senior and ambassador girl scouts. Only 5.4% of eligible Girl Scouts successfully win the award.
Our Own Project:
After visiting a farmers market, and understanding the ins and outs of local farming, we created meals planned out under certain budgets ($1 - $20) and decided to share it with the community via this website.
